David began his doctoral research at Cliff College in September 2008 under the supervision of Rev. Dr. Philip Meadows. His research will bring together two fields of study--missiology and Wesleyan theology--in a two way dialogue. The concept of the missio Dei will be put alongside a Wesleyan understanding of the `means of grace'. David and his family currently live in The Peak District, where he works full time on his thesis and lectures on Missiology at Cliff College. David is a Probationary Elder in the United Methodist Church and has served churches in the South and North Georgia Annual Conferences in the United States.
