Rev. Michael A. Lowenberg, BA (MidAmerica Nazarene University), MA (Nazarene Theological Seminary), PGCert (Nazarene Theological College

Michael is a research PhD candidate at University of Manchester and Co-Pastor of North Watford Church of the Nazarene. His thesis, '"… the unity of all of these constitutes the perfect man": St. Irenaeus on the Perfection of God’s Handiwork', which seeks to theologically elucidate Irenaeus’s second century understanding of human perfection. This project pays particular attention to Irenaeus's context and the narrative shape of his theology. By unfolding Irenaeus’s robust and coherent theology of anthropological perfection, this second century bishop may serve as an authoritative voice for contemporary theological discussions of anthropology and its perfection.
