Mark A. Maddix, Ph.D., PhD supervisor, Nazarene Theological College; Pastor, San Dieguito United Methodist Church, Encinitas, California

At Northwest Nazarene University and Point Loma Nazarene University, Dr Maddix has taught courses in Christian formation and ministry, Church and mission, congregational education and formation, and worship. His research focuses on the integration of theology and practice, particularly from a Wesleyan perspective. He has published books in the areas of Christian education, spiritual formation, ecclesiology and mission, and theological education. Dr Maddix enjoys traveling, taking his dogs to the beach, and playing the drums.
