Stephen Brian Yeich (Brian), Ph.D. 

 ‘Christian Perfection as a Vision for Evangelism’ (Cliff College)

Brian’s passion is helping people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ whether it is in the context of the community, the local church, or the academy. As an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, he has pastored in both large and small congregations as well as a church re-start. Brian currently serves as a Core Team Member and Coordinator of the Inspire Movement, a missional discipleship network based in the United Kingdom. Including his current role at Asbury Theological Seminary as Interim Assistant Provost and affiliate professor, Brian has over 6 years in theological education leadership. Brian finished his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Philip R. Meadows with the University of Manchester/Cliff College in the spring of 2015. Brian’s PhD research focused on the doctrine of Christian perfection and its implications for the theology and practice of evangelism under the title, 'The Doctrine of Christian Perfection as a Vision for Evangelism'. He enjoys tinkering on cars and technology as well as spending time with his children Matt, Daniel, Sarah and his wife, Misty.
