‘A Comprehensive Congregational Analysis Depicting Experiences in Bereavement of the British Pentecostal Windrush Generation during the COVID-19 Pandemic.’

Charlotte’s thesis seeks to capture the experiences and its impact of members of the Windrush Generation who have suffered bereavement within the context of multiple cultures, particularly during the  COVID-19  period.   It will also capture the observations of others such as pastoral care leaders and provide an insight into the challenges for congregations within a Pentecostal setting.  

Charlotte Johnson is a Trustee and Deaconess at Willesden New Testament Church of God (WNTCG).   She holds a MSc in Human Resources Leadership, a Masters of Arts in Church Ministries (MACM), and Doctor of Ministry (Dmin) and expresses her vocation through pastoral care within her local community.

Charlotte has over thirty years’ experience working in the public sector, for the regional government, local authority, and the National Health Service (NHS). During that time she has held managerial and leadership roles in relation to learning and development, with a focus on Equalities and Inclusion. As a former magistrate, a chair of school governors, she is an active community worker, involved in a number of community initiatives, plus being a trustee on the board of the local Mencap organisation.

She has authored several articles on Christian matters for the Association of Christian Councillors (ACC), Churches Together in England (CTE) and the New Testament Church of God (NTCG).    

With a passion for supporting individuals to achieve their God given potential Charlotte is a qualified executive coach and leadership mentor. Charlotte’s mantra is “My purpose in life is to serve God, and through serving God I serve His people.”
