Christopher Grant Foster, M.Div., MA, ‘Participatory Pneumatology in 1 Corinthians in light of Late Second Temple Jewish Apocalypticism and Mysticism’ (NTC)
Christopher moved with his wife, Sarah, from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Manchester, UK in September 2008 to complete an MA and pursue doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr Kent Brower (NTC). His thesis seeks to illuminate participation in the spirit in the Corinthian correspondence through a comparative study with early Jewish mystical texts including the Hodayot, Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice, and Second-Ezekiel from the Dead Sea Scrolls. While pursuing his PhD, he serves Nazarene Theological College as Teaching Assistant for Biblical Studies and occasionally as co-teacher or visiting lecturer for undergraduate courses. He also serves as the MWRC Postgraduate Assistant.
