'John Wesley’s Sources and Theology for Works of Mercy'
Hunter began his doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr Thomas Noble (NTC/NTS) in 2010. He has edited and contributed to Volumes 1-7 of Folio--A Preaching Companion, which is a worship and preaching resource based on the Revised Common Lectionary for ministers working in the Wesleyan Holiness tradition. He serves as the Youth Pastor at First Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and as adjunct faculty at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Hunter's wife is a practicing clinical psychologist who also teaches at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Hunter's research explores the sources for Wesley's understanding of mercy, the role mercy plays in Wesley's theology, and seeks to uncover evidence of the corporal and spiritual works of mercy in Wesley's ministry.
