Jacqueline Hanover, 'The Role of the Spiritual Senses in Contemporary Mission'

Jacqueline's doctoral resarch in Missiology and Spirituality at Cliff College is focused on a re-examination of the doctrine of the Spiritual Senses, with particular reference to early Salvation Army/Wesleyan thought and practice, and its significance for missiology in the early 21st Century. Her contribution to knowledge will consist in the attempt to bring together this aspect of the field of spirituality with the field of evangelistic mission. Her work has three main areas of focus: Spiritual Senses (with particular reference to John Wesley's theology) Sacramental Spirituality (with particular focus on life as a Sacrament) Evangelistic Mission (with particular focus on spiritual age/culture)
