Thesis title: ‘What Must We Do?: The Path to Salvation in Luke’s Gospel’ (NTC)

MiJa finished her doctoral research in 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Kent Brower. Her thesis examines Luke’s message of salvation and Luke’s soteriological concerns for the rich as well as the poor, arguing that they are inextricably tied to socio-economic issues. It investigates specific socio-economic issues in the first century Graeco-Roman world to shed light on Luke’s message of salvation and explores how salvation of the rich as well as the poor occurs in Luke’s Gospel.

She was a teaching assistant for the Biblical Studies Department and team taught several undergraduate courses and MA seminars at NTC from 2013 till 2017. She is currently involved in teaching an MA seminar at NTC, Manchester.

She and her husband Eun Ho live in Manchester, pastoring YeDam Church Manchester.
