Thesis title: ‘What Must We Do?: Salvation of the Rich in Luke’s Gospel’ (NTC)
Mi Ja began her doctoral study in 2013 under the supervision of Dr. Kent Brower. Her research explores Luke’s message of salvation in relation to socio-economic issues. It investigates specific socio-economic issues in the first century Graeco-Roman world to shed light on Luke’s message of salvation and explores how salvation of the rich as well as the poor occurs in Luke’s Gospel.
Mi Ja has been a teaching assistant for the Biblical Studies Department and has team taught several undergraduate courses and MA seminars at NTC since 2013.
She lives in Manchester with her husband Eun Ho.
