Three visiting fellows have been appointed for summer 2014.
Dr Keith Beebe from Whitworth University, Washington will be researching George Whitefield and John Wesley in Scotland; Dr Rebecca Laird from Point Loma Nazarene University will be working on George Whitefield, Mary Bosanquet Fletcher’s children’s catechism, and a new Wesleyan Spiritual Formation textbook; and Dr Andrew Winckles from Siena Heights University, Michigan will be researching early Methodist women's writing as literature.
A lecture titled 'Wesleyan Social Holiness, African Methodism, and the U. S. Civil Rights Movement' will be given by Dr Dennis C. Dickerson on Tuesday 1 April 2014 on the campus of Nazarene Theological College. A recording of the lecture can be watched here.

The MWRC would like to congratulate Dr Jon Kulaga, Provost at Asbury University, on his appointment as an MWRC Visiting Research Fellow along with the summer 2013 Visiting Fellows from Point Loma Nazarene University: Dr Carol Blessing (working on Mary Tooth) and Prof Charlene Pate (working on the Sunday School movement). Dr Kulaga will be working on a project titled: 'John Wesley’s Leadership Style: In Search of a Paradigm'.
